For quite a while I wanted to change my hair color to lighter shades. My natural hair color is dark, almost black. So in order to get it light or “even worse” blonde, I needed to take an extra measures. It has taken me almost 8 months to get the light shade that I have always wanted.
The secret is to be patient and take your time to get that shiny and cold tone of blonde. If I wanted to do it all in once, I am sure that my hair would have not taken it well. So how did I do it? I made my hair lighter and lighter every time I went to hair dresser.
The other requirement for the hair was the length of it. I have always had long black hair. So now if I could have blond hair that should have been also long. By long I mean really long, up to my back. But when your hair is curly and dark as mine and you start to lighen it, the hair gets damages so it needs to be cut more often. Obviously, it gets shorter than you are used to. So what should do we next? Yes, hair extension. That’s how I staretd with hair extension and I must say I am really satisfied with it. Hair extension has become one of the things in my must-to-do list. Every 4 month I go to a very good salon and fix my hair.
